how Connections Ltd was formed in 1995 by an already established team of engineers and designers.

From the long standing customer base established over many years by the individuals that make up the ‘Show Connections team’.

One of the very first projects undertaken by the then new Company was for design, manufacture and integration of audio systems and visual effects at Legoland, Windsor. This was rapidly followed by a number of projects either directly or destined for a whole string of prestigious names including Deutshe Bank, Credit Suisse, Living Well, Level 3, Canary Wharf Ltd, The Financial Services Authority, plus a number of local authorities etc.

The Company provided the skills for the installation of systems within the Millennium Dome, Wembley Stadium, Earls Court and Olympia exhibition centres and the new ‘Egg’ headquarters.

In 2000, the Company launched the Projector Protector. This device heralds the use of high power LCD/DLP projectors in hitherto ‘hostile environments’. Also in 2000, the Company introduced a range of projection screens. Acting as sole importers and UK distributors for Italian manufacturers, CIMEX.

The Company will also be acting as distributors for a number of other well know brands of products familiar to the audio/visual engineer, such as Mitsubishi, JVC, Bose, M & D Design.
